On the Matching Tie and Handkerchief album there's a song about the drinking habits of various philosophers. Can anyone tell me who it was that "...could stick it away, half a pint of whiskey every day"? Recording seems unclear to me at that point. Thanks. CBrown @ rochester

"Plato, they say, could stick it away, Half a crate of whiskey every day..." Didn't understand what the expresssion "pissed" meant until spending half a year in Scotland. A barman in an Edinburgh pub was speaking of the previous evening, and said a whole bunch of Americans had come in, "already pissed." I thought he meant they were angry about something.....
