I had no problems getting elvis to run on my 386 PC. However when I tried editing more than one file(in different windows) in the Desqview environment the system just seemed to hang. Moreover, after rebooting if I tried editing the files that I was editing when the system hung up, I get the message "file xyz busy". A simple check shows that the file is intact, but elvis does not seem to want to edit it anymore. Any ideas on what is going on? -- -- suresh

This means in Desqview, if you edit a file on C:, you cannot edit any other file on C:. This is a limitation on the temp file name generation and is what I read shortly after the sources were posted.
