Polish is indeed an English word. It may have stemmed from a foriegn language, but then so have many other of our words. In fact all of them if you consider that English is a conglomeration of Briton and Anglo-Saxon (tempered by Latin), topped off with a good dose of Norman French. I believe the Polish call themselves something like Polski(or maybe that's the way they pronounce Poland (or maybe it's both)) in their native language. Is it Friday yet? Tom Harris
