[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] grep.sim - How do I decode this on a UNIX system?

This was billed as a program to look into the simibm index from
a unix system but I don't know how to decode it!! Any help out
there?

I'm not abolutely sure that it will solve this particular case, but
there is a fair amount of information on handling unix files in
/unix/ts/0news-u file at uwasa.fi archives.
