Hello everyone. I have a Hewelett Packard Thinkjet printer, and was wondering if I could use it with Word, not Word for Windows, but just plain Word. Anyway, the setup disk had many printers, but not the HP Thinkjet, or the Epson MX-80. I mention the Epson MX-80 because the Thinkjet WILL respond correctly to those signals, but not the FX-80, or the RX-80, which is what Word has. There are way too many printers to choose from to try them all, so any suggestions would be appreicated, i.e. other printers that are identical to the Epson MX-80, or the Thinkjet. I mention the Epson Actually there is a printer driver for the ThinkJet, but its on MS Word Supplemental Printers Disk #2, which was not a part of the standard Word distribution. Since its in the public domain, I can send you a copy if you'd like. _______________________________________________________________________________ Jim Goes |BITNET: GOES@UMNACVX or JGOES@UMINN1 Health Services Administration |InterNet: GOES@VX.ACS.UMN.EDU School of Public Health |UUCP: {fav backbone}!uxacs!vxacs!goes University of Minnesota |MaBell: (612) 624-3118

Could you please send me a copy if you don't mind. I'm a relative newcomer to UNIX and notes and this is my first mail letter, so I haven't any idea how to access the public domain software at this point. Thanks Wray Smallwood
