Does anyone know of freeware/shareware Motorola 68000 cross-assembler for DOS ? I've checked several obvious FTP sites with no luck. Thanks-- Chris -- Chris Elmquist, N0JCF Internet: elmquist@SSESCO.com AMPRN: N0JCF@WB0GDB.MN.USA.NA BellNet: (612) 785-3516

I just assumed Motorola went from 6800 to 680x0 in much the same was Intel went from 8086 to 80x86. Maybe I shouldn't assume so much. :-> Anyone fill me in on this info? Here in sweden we have a company: "Computer press", they have a book with a collection of articles from Dr Dobb's ( Dr Dobb's Toolbook of 68000 programming , 400 pages, Brady 1986 ) the book also include a ms-dos disk with an executable version of the X-assembler. -- Lars Nilsson Ericsson Telecom AB , Stockholm - Sweden E-mail: etxsral@california.ericsson.se Fidonet: Lars Nilsson @ 2:201/108.7

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on this executable. Or does anyone havethe source code for X68000 in something other than Modula2 (Dr. Dobb's Journal prog is in Modula2; and I don't have a Modula2 compiler). cheers, Andy! ________________________________________________________________________________ Andrew Lacy, | adlacy@vax1.tcd.ie (preferred address) Comp.
