Sat 8-Dec-90: Well folks, it looks like we have yet another archiver to our plethora of PC file compressors. This one makes packages designated with an .arj extension. It is available from uwasa.fi archives as /pc/pd2/arj014.zip. The author Robert Kung puts forward that arj beats both .zip and .lzh compressions. According to the documentation, this is the second alpha test release. ................................................................... ARJ015A has just been released by the author and will be available on SIMTEL20 later this evening in the pd1:<msdos.arc-lbr> directory as arj015a.zip. A more detailed announcement will be posted later. Keith
