Can you think of a 10 letter word whose letters come from just the top row of the typewriter keyboard? (If it were a word, QWERTYUIOP would be a correct answer.) One or more letters may be repeated (so that QQQQWWERTY would be acceptable). Ken Glass houxf!glass

The word that you seek is 'TYPEWRITER'. And as long as this is the newsgroup for trivia, I may as well pass this along: David Kahn, in his book 'The Codebreakers', reports one theory that the 'QWERTYUIOP' letters were chosen for the top row of the typewriter keyboard for the express reason that typewriter salesman of the time could spell out 'TYPEWRITER' without having to hunt all over the keyboard for the letters.
