[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] GIF "Size Corrector" Available?

Some of the GIFs I have apparently have some extra empty bytes
tacked on the end. Does a PD program exist to strip these away?
I couldn't locate one on Simtel20.

VUIMAGE PLUS (2.83) has a utility called NINTLACE.EXE
that will convert an interlaced GIF/GIF89a picture to a non-interlaced picture.
This utility can also be used to cut out the extra bytes (just run the
program with the "-n" option).

	nintlace -n input.gif output.gif

VUIMAGE PLUS is not PD and thus does not help you, I realize, but I
mention it only because it may appear in the next release of the
shareware version of VUIMAGE. The latest shareware version is 2.82.
