Some of the GIFs I have apparently have some extra empty bytes tacked on the end. Does a PD program exist to strip these away? I couldn't locate one on Simtel20. -Chris

This utility can also be used to cut out the extra bytes (just run the program with the "-n" option). nintlace -n input.gif output.gif VUIMAGE PLUS is not PD and thus does not help you, I realize, but I mention it only because it may appear in the next release of the shareware version of VUIMAGE.
