I gave DMP201 a try and liked it very much. It's nice to have the spooling to disk done automatically. One problem, though: when I tried printing from inside PC-File 5.0, DMP never spools to disk. PC-File seems to run until the standard memory buffers are full, then waits until DMP has printed 5 or so records (the number varies depending on the outputline length), creates another 5 records, waits until DMP prints another 5 records, etc. I suspect that the problem has something to do with the fact that both programs grab interrupt vector 21, and presumably do slightly incompatible things with it. I tried downloading DMP202 from wuarchive.wustl.edu and found no improvement. Has anyone else seen this problem or, more to the point, can anyone suggest a way around the problem? For what it's worth, I'm running under DOS 3.2 on an IBM XT, with 6K of normal memory buffers and no expanded or extended memory. (Yes, Virginia, a *real* IBM XT :-). -- Ted Richards ...uunet!utai!lsuc!isgtec!ted ted@isgtec.UUCP ISG Technologies Inc. 3030 Orlando Dr. Mississauga Ont. Canada L4V 1S8
