Just for the the general information that also Telix has these alternative display sizes. (At uwasa.fi see the /pc/pd2 directory for Telix). My comments: If you're going to use large display sizes with Telix, though, be sure you get the latest release (the one which is called "3.12A" on several systems -- although Exis Inc., to the best of my knowledge, still insists on calling it "3.12" and is upset at those who do otherwise). The original "3.12" had a bug which caused certain VT102 escape sequences to scramble Telix's character translation tables if you were using a display with more than 25 lines. This bug was fixed several months ago, and the current "3.12" (the one some people call "3.12A") has this fix. I use the current "3.12" version of Telix on a 50-line VGA display all the time. I highly recommend Telix. -- Rich Wales <wales@CS.UCLA.EDU> // UCLA Computer Science Department 3531 Boelter Hall // Los Angeles, CA 90024-1596 // +1 (213) 825-5683 "I could be chasing an untamed ornithoid without cause."

At Simtel20 and uwasa.fi we have it as 3.12A to avoid confusion. BTW much talk on a new Procomm+ and a new Telix release. The former, I think, already advertised, the latter being in a test phase. ...................................................................
