I screwed up and lost #6 of the latest FRACTINT. Do I ask you about
this? Is there a way to get just #6 from anonymous FTP? Where?

You can get fractin151.zip and frasr151.zip from simtel 20 or wuarchive.wustl.edu or any other simtel mirror sites (I'm told)... I got it from wuarchive... Under mirrors/msdos/graphics I believe... Fractint is simply amazing. GET IT!! I run it on a 25 Mhz 486 and it simply just doesn't worry about generating 1024x768x256 fractals. It can do your standard Mandelbrot set in about as much time it takes me to type this message (maybe less).. Anyway... Highly suggested (It also supports a wide variety of Graphics Cards, can save in GIF format, has neat features that let you mess aroung with the VGA palette, and has a hundred different types of fractal images and tens and tens of options to display them..) It generates almost all the fractals I've ever seen any other programs do, and it does it MUCH faster.... -gmw
