    Hello,
I recently recived a file with an file name extension of .Z
What extraction/uncompression program should I use to retrieve
the contents of this file, and from where (ie ftp) can I get a
   copy of this program?

    Thank you in advance,
       Rob Soukoreff

aIt is a UNIX compression....

Just type "uncompress <filename>.Z"

it will be replaced by the uncompressed, larger file of the same name without
the "Z"

Mpython..
