[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Wanted :- Info on ems emulators for plain old 286 machines

martin@dell.co.uk (Martin Jackson) (02/13/91)

I'm looking for information on ems emulators for plain 286 machines. I know
there is an emulator writen by SoftByte which emulates LIM 3.2 the only
problem with this is it takes up 70k!, so I'm looking for something
smaller.

Thanks for any help

It doesn't sound all that bad, considering that 70K probably includes
the required 64K page frame. I've tried several EMS implementations on
my PC's Limited 286-12 <g> and they're all pretty big.
