[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] dups out of sixhub

root@mjbtn.JOBSOFT.COM (Mark J. Bailey) (02/14/91)

I just noticed that there were dup postings to comp.binaries.ibm.pc that
appear to have come from sixhub. At first I thought something was wrong
here, but, take two identical postings, they have two DIFFERENT message-ids
there at sixhub.

Just wanted to make light of it.

Mark.

I guess I should have posted the explanation in duplicate, too. I
assume that you mean the regular informational postings. The script
which posts them had a problem and sent me mail saying it couldn't post
the messages. It lied. I said {expletive deleted} and posted them by
hand, since they keep down the number of questions.

Sorry about that, they were out for two days before I found out, and
there's not much good sending a cancel after that, the bandwidth is gone.
