I just picked up the newest edition of 4DOS... Currnetly, I have it
installed in expanded and I wanted to switch to extended... I looked in
the manual and found that it autodetects the memory type and loads into
that memory... But for some reason, it refuses to recognise my extended
memory... It'll load into simulated expanded or swap to disk, but I
can't get it to notice my extended memory... Does anyone have any idea
how to fix this???
My hardware includes:
Kaypro 286i
StarGate MRB-2000 2mb expanded memory card
The system has 640k on it... I've partitioned the extended memory
into extended, expanded, and a disk cache... Even if I turn off the EMS
simulation, it just swaps 4DOS to disk...
