For those people who like to save every byte of machine memory when using DOS 4.x, there are now TWO alternatives to loading SHARE.EXE to protect against disk-trashing by code that uses FCBs. Tom Almy's excellent NOSHARE.COM has been available for some time, and now my own tinier version (based on Tom's idea): NOTSHARE.COM Coming soon to a .sig near you. (Would archive sites accept code this small?)
