Using msdos v3.3 on a 286 system PHANTOM works without problems. I can even use it to logon to a Unix system and then operate. However using msdos 4.01 on a 386 system Phantom running the demo program supplied, I get "invalid handle" message after the first line of the demo and the system crashes sometime into the second line. Wouldn't you know? My msdos manual omits any explanation of this error message. It's plain enough--must have been an invalid handle returned--but why is this specific to the msdos version? BTW, the current issue of PC Magazine vol10n07, has a freebie keystroke recorder which also operates in somewhat the same way, i.e. including time delays. However, it is a TSR.
