[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] v11i010: im17, fancy screensaver

cpawn@marlin.jcu.edu.au (Andrew W Nicholson) (04/16/91)

Did anyone else have troubles with this?

I was unable to uudecode this as it has one line too short when there is
6% left to decode. It turns out that the short line is in the second
part.

I checked the copy in comp.binaries.ibm, and it has the short line in
it. So it is not a download problem. Does any one know how to fix this,
or what the character is that is missing?

		Andrew.

Funny, I had no difficulty uudecoding. What are you using as a
decoder? I use Richard Marks' uudecode for the PC. I notice
that there is a new decoder in the starter.kit, maybe yours
is too old?

I had the same problem as Andrew here at the University of Wollongong. Mabye
the message got corrupted on it's way to Australia. I was using the decode
command in the 'nn' reader. I just FTP'd it from sol.deakin (I think it is
on simtel-20) instead.
