Hi everyone!

I am looking for the list of FTP sites which are very close to my area. Does anyone know where I can find one that I can download and use it?

I am in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada ... (Southern Ontario).

Thank you in advance whoever send me the informations.

Yeah, there's one real close to you: watmath.waterloo.edu, at the
University of Waterloo. (I don't know what's on it that could be of
interest to you, though.)

There is a large collection of PD software available at terminator.cc.umich.edu
(35.1.33.8), for IBM PC, Atari and Unix machines. If you look in the msdos/info
directory, the file anon.ftp contains a list of sites which support anonymous ftp.

This collection is just starting to take shape, and questions/problems can be sent
to steve@terminator.cc.umich.edu or sharkey!steve.

No neat signature. Sorry.

I have gotten a good suggestion: if a submission is available via ftp,
please note the location in the description. This will reduce the "where
can I get" postings.

Jon Granrose maintains a list of ftp sites. It is available via
anonymous ftp from the /pub/ftp-list directory on pilot.njin.net
[128.6.7.38]. From the dates on the files it looks as if the list is
updated daily.
