[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Is there an un-zoo utility for Unix?

wilson@cssmtf.csus.edu (Joe Wilson) (05/03/91)

I am looking for an un-zoo utility for Unix so I can check the status
of .zoo files before I go to the trouble of downloading them to my PC.

Anyone have any knowledge of this or where I can find out?

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Look in volume 4, issue 37 of comp.sources.misc. Rahul Dhesi posted
a program that he calls booz. It will extract and catalog zoo archives.
I have used it successfully under NeXTStep 2.0 and DYNIX 3.0.17.

My copy came via anonymous ftp from:

	wuarchive.wustl.edu

in the directory:

	usenet/comp.sources.misc/volume4/booz.Z

It's always a rational thing to do.
Peek into our /unix/ts directory.
BTW there are no separate zoo and unzoo. Just a generic zoo.
