THANK YOU to all the folks who sent in MANY dates to me. sometimes mail did not get the thank you reply back, but i did try to thank everyone who sent dates to me. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!! what has happened: i have been spending time reviewing the many dates which were sent to me. due to the fact that every person's dates were in a different format, i have had to assemble by hand, every date. the vast majority of dates that were sent to me have been used. often dates were duplicated, but with something additional added such as a birthplace or middle name. what the state is now: the current database has entries for every day of the year. /\**/\ if fact, it contains about 2000 entries! /\!!/\ i am about 80% the way through the entries which i have received. what is going to happen next: in about 2 week (more or less) i will have all the online entries merged into the database. the database will also go though additional local proof reading and date verification. when this is finished, i will post a pre-release copy to net.sources for public review. the purpose of the posting is to all folks on the net who are interested, to go over the database. i will post an article to this newsgroup when the net.sources article is sent out. i am going to invite people to review the database and send in their comments, corrections, additions of things i missed, etc. this will likely be many items since i dont have the time or resources in relation to the rest of the net! anyway, after the corrections dribble off, i will post the final net.sources version. there after only diff corrections will be sent out... chongo <thank you to all who helped> /\../\ -- Mail to me, i Mail back... hplabs!nsc!chongo "One thing is for certain, the sheep is not a creature of the air!" \/xx-~
