On UFO, you had:
The moonbase, which launched three space-based interceptors, each equipped
with a big atomic (?) weapon fired from its nose. This was the first line of
defense.
There were submarines which launched aircraft normally attached to the front
of the subs. The aircraft had cannon and perhaps air-to-air missles. The
subs also chased UFOs underwater.
There were also tanks which were hidden inside semi-trailers. The tanks
fired cannon. The crew sat facing backwards and drove by watching TV
screens. I think I remember hearing someone say that the most difficult
thing about driving them was that you had to steer left to go right, and
vice versa.
