[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Wanted - program to make a DOS file out of floppy image. and restore

jsharp@isis.cs.du.edu (Joe Sharp) (05/26/91)

I was wondering if anyone knows of shareware program out there that will
take a floppy disk and make a file out of the disk image. The program
should also be able to restore the floppy from the file.

I need to transfer a non-dos format floppy via a DOS file. The disk is
not readeable under DOS DIR command but I can do a diskcopy, so I assume
the format is the same. So if I can just find a program that will take a
track by track image of this floppy, and put it into a file, then I can
e-mail this file and presumably restore it to floppy at the other end.

Anyone know of such a program? TIA

Joe

The program you are looking for is TeleDisk by Sydex. Give them a call or
write them - see below. Registration is nominal $15-25, I've forgotten
exactly.
