[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] whereis boot-b or swapab?

hare@seq.uncwil.edu (David F. Hare) (05/25/91)

Hi All,

I am looking for a program that will allow me to boot from my 3.5 B: drive
instead of my 5.25 A: drive. I have been told of some programs (boot-b and
swapab) but I can't find them anywhere.

I hate these whereis postings also, but I really have tried to find these,
and all I can find are programs to boot different partitions of hard drives.

The reason I ask is: I just ordered received Minix on 3.5's and I need to boot
from B: to install it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

Thanks to all who responded about swapping my drives. The consensus was
to reverse the drive cable. This required buying a new cable with the
correct connections though. Maybe this is why it wasn't so obvious to
me at first; my drives had different connections for the different drives.

Thanks to all who helped.
