[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] 80287 Emulator wanted

nef@mace.cc.purdue.edu (paulhicks) (06/04/91)

Dear Netland
I realize that this has been discussed before, but
most of the past letters have expired, so I am asking...

           Where can I find a 80287 emulator?

Thanks, Paul

PS. Simtel seems really slow when I ftp from it, is this
     unnusual?

Simtel has an excellent emulator that I often use with programs that require a
math chip, like the newer versions of AutoCad. The filename is EM87V1_3.ARC and
it can be found in the <msdos.sysutl> directory. The program is a TSR, but it
has options so that it can be removed from memory.
