[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Looking for an `air traffic controller' game demo

fisher@sc2a.unige.ch (06/05/91)

Sorry for the request, but my memory fails me...

Some time ago (this year or end of 1990?), a DEMO version of a game simulating
the work of air traffic controllers was posted to c.b.i.p. I talked about it
with a friend and promissed him to get him a copy, but now I can't find it
anywhere...

If my memory is correct on this point, this demo was posted merely because
the internal "speech syntethizer" was quite amazing, and impressed the
moderator. A search for the words "traffic" and "demo" in Simtel20's (US) and
Garbo's (FI) list of files didn't work... I'm assuming that game demos are not
systematically archived. Of course, I don't remember the name of the archive.

Now for the question:

- Did anyone keep this demo? If yes, I'd appreciate a small reply (I'll ask
you later for a mail- or ftp-solution).

- Where are the original item in c.b.i.p. archived? I remember seeing them
on some site, but can't locate them again.

For specific answers, e-mail seems preferable. On the other hand, if anyone
is interested, send me a note and I'll keep you informed.

Thanks in advance,
