Can someone tell me where I can get Chiwriter from? Preferably
via the Internet and ftp.

Thanks in advance,

Chiwriter is a commercial product.

Buried in my old.questions file is their address:

Horstmann Software Design Corporation
P.O. Box 5039
San Jose, CA 95150
(408) 298-0828

The old.questions file is an 88K database of all sorts of questions
that have been asked in comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc and
comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d over the last 13 months. It's actually
interesting to see how many questions we see are merely repeats of old
questions.

The old.questions file can be obtained from the comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc
archives; consult the monthly Frequently Asked Questions file for
instructions.

Not quite.

There is an old CGA-only version of it that was released as shareware.
I used to have a copy but don't anymore. I have never seen it on an FTP
site, but it may well exist on one, or it may have been withdrawn from
shareware distribution. All versions for displays other than CGA have
always been commercial products, to my knowledge.
