[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] GIF integrity checker

Does anyone know of a program that will check through a .gif file and
determine whether it is in working order or not? Either for Unix or MSdos or
both would be great. Thanks.

I just found a program which produces *gobs* of output about a GIF,
and I added a -q option to reduce that torrent to a managable flow. I
use it to determine if a GIF is likely to be good... about 98% of GIFs
which don't get warnings are truely okay.

I can drop it in the queue if you want.
