Help!!!!!! I'm a freshman at this sort of stuff. I'm having trouble downloading .ZIP files, obtained through anonymous ftp, to my pc. I'm using Procomm and specifying the files as binary in kermit, Xmodem, and Ymodem (all of which I have tried). I have access to unix and VMS and have tried both in downloading. I AM able to upload .EXE's (just to test if possible) from my pc to VMS and unix, but not the reverse. Can someone help me? (I read this news group everyday so either posting here or in e-mail is ok.)

It might be that you forgot to use BINARY when FTPing on the Unix or WMS. You wont notise this mistake until you try to unzip on your pc. Believe me, I have forgotten binary in a FTP more than one time.
