The recent articles about Canadian questions in the Genus II card set have got me wondering about previously released card sets, in particular the All-Star Sports set. In Canada, on the package the word "All-Star" had a maple leaf instead of the "a" in it; and in the football category there were a small number of questions dealing with the Canadian Football League. Is there a distinct American All-Star Sports edition with no CFL questions, and perhaps a different stylization of the "a" in "All-Star"? Jim Tubman University of Waterloo ...!watmath!water!jbtubman

In the United States version, the "a" becomes a star. Another difference, I think, is that the US gets basketball as its own full category, rather than hockey. Hockey in turn takes up a large share of the "catch all" questions. Where will the 1984 summer Olympics be held? Ken Kaufman (uiucdcs!kaufman)
