Hi, Since I got quite a few requests for the summary of the responses on my initial question whether MSC generated library works with Borland compilers, I will post a summary when I collect all the relevant info. For the time being, let me just state that although the future seems to be a bit gloomy, there just might be a way out of the problem - namely, I got 2 responses, both saying that it just might be possible to do it providing one uses BC++, and not TC++. Apparently, there is a switch/define/variable called __MSC wich is supposed to do something. Since I haven't got BC++ (yet :-), I can't check it out myself. There seems to be something about it in the Getting started BC++ Manual (pp45 and on). Can someone confirm that this really works?? As I said above, the full summary of all responses will follow - this is still work in progress :-) --Nino PS Many thanks to all the people who responded to my original question. -- Janet: nino@uk.ac.ucl.sm.mph \ Nino Margetic Earn/Bitnet: nino@mph.sm.ucl.ac.uk \ Dept. of Medical Physics Internet: nino%mph.sm.ucl.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk\ University College London Bang-path: ....!mcvax!ukc!ucl-mph!nino \ Tel:+44-71-380-9300/x5313
