I seem to have problems running FDFORMAT 1.7. It crashes right after the copyright header has been printed to the screen. Apparently you missed the announcement. FDFORM 1.7 has been withdrawn by the author. It was an unauthorized distribution by one of his Beta testers. FDFORM 1.8 will be released in about a week. Until then, the author says to use version 1.6a (which is no longer on SIMTEL20 because I deleted it when 1.7 arrived).
