In article <1991Jun28.224447.1228@pinhead.pegasus.com>, todd@pinhead.pegasus.com (Todd Ogasawara) says: >Has there ever been any discussion about creating a >comp.binaries.ibm.pc.windows news group? [.....] is that with three >So, how do you feel about creating > comp.binaries.ibm.pc.windows >and/or > comp.binaries.ibm.pc.windows.vbasic I love the idea. but I'd much rather stick to a shorter name. I propose: comp.binaries.mswindows I'd say let the vbasic stuff go in mswindows for now, and if it really takes off (i'm not much of a fan for it myself), then newgroup it as well, something like comp.binaries.mswindows.vbasic. (which conveniently allows for other hierarchies). --- David Barr - Penn State CAC Student Consultant, Student Programmer DSB100@psuvm.psu.edu | dsbarr@vivaldi.psu.edu dsbarr@psusun03.psu.edu | ...psuvax1!hogbbs!barrstl!barr

Uh, what about comp.windows.ms and comp.windows.ms.programmer that have been in existance for quite some time now?? Or were you talking about a group with a different purpose that I didn't quite catch...
