[net.followup] Hypocrisy in action

It's amazing, isn't it, how HMG are capable of making such a fine
distinction between:

A: An American incursion into a sovereign state to attack
           'State-sponsored' terrorists.

B: A South African incursion into 3 sovereign states to
           attack 'State-sponsored' terrorists.

that they can support the first and condemn the second.

The U.S. Government also supported A and condemned B -- because
useful talks were underway to end ANC activities from those three
countries. If Libya had been willing to work out an arrangement
to end terrorism, and the U.S. had bombed anyway, we would have been
in the wrong.

Do you consider ending ANC activities a *good* end result?

Sure, since when was stopping people from planting landmines and bombs that
kill other people, black and white, child and adult, male and female without
discrimination not a good end result?

Yes I know that is not the ANC's only activities, but unfortunately some
of their more significant ones.
