Crowley was *NOT* a Satanist. He believed himself to be "The Beast 666," not to be confused with Satan. However, if you will read his works, Crowley believed that, to attain any level of magical power or understanding, one had to have a higher goal to be dedicated to, and he commented that the only viable such goal was the helping of other creatures. Page has shown interest in Crowley. At most this can be taken to mean that either: 1] He is a Satanist, but a very *stupid* one. 2] He is interested in the Occult. Believe it or not, kids, the occult is *not* all Satanistic. For instance, Wicca is a whole occult religion that is not in the least Satanistic. For that matter, note Hermetic philosophy of the early Rennaisance. Anyway... Just sticking up for the difference between Crowley and Satanism. Crowley may have sacrificed miscellaneous things, but he had nothing to do with Satan. Mostly he used the Inochian (sp?) system of magic which is based on communication with angels, which then cause the desired effect. --SeebS-
