[ I originally posted this with a uk distribution, but have had no luck as yet...] I'm looking for a freely distributable version of sendmail which will run on a SVID compliant Sys V machine. If anyone has such a beast I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks all Scott

i have ported sendmail 5.58 to system v release 3.1. it runs on a 3b2 with win/3b (the wollongong group tcp/ip) and dbm. it is available by anonymous ftp from eagle.ucsd.edu (128.54.0.241) in cpio form with ascii headers, uncompressed or compressed. (pub/sendmail.cpio or pub/sendmail.cpio.Z). as i said, it is configured to use win/3b tcp/ip and dbm. i have never tried other configurations, but they might work. if you can't ftp, contact me and we can try to work something out.
