I am rather surprised by the recommended source fix to sendmail which I have seen since it does not really address the real problem which is in recipient.c. I do not know whether I should consider this list to have "security clearance", but I'm sure anyone who has read the mailings on the virus should have figured out by now how to exploit the hole. Therefore I will send to this DL the simple "real" fix this afternoon unless anyone has any objection. -Jim.
