Having recently gotten sendmail working on my 3B1, I want to be able to provide several down-stream neighbors who are NOT running 'news' with subscriptions to several groups. In order to do this, I determined that there is no problem in routing received articles in several groups out to them via uucp. HOWEVER, I was under the impression that the 'uurec' script provided with 'news' would also allow me to provide them with the capability of posting news via uucp mail sent to a special destination on my system which is aliased to "|/usr/local/lib/news/uurec". I tried this, and what I get is a message from inews indicating that it had attempted to receive news, but that it was garbled. What am I doing wrong, or am I mis-understanding the purpose of 'uurec', or am I not aliasing correctly, or. . . H E L P ! ! !
