I seem to be having a bit of difficulty getting our machines to deal with route-addresses properly. The same problem exists on both MicroVAXen running Ultrix 2.2 and Sun-3's running SunOS 4.0.1. The problem is that route addresses of the form <@hosta,@hostb:user@hostc> don't get delivered. Addresses of the form <@hosta:user@hostb> are fine. The problem appears to be that sendmail interprets the first sort of address as three addresses, delimited by commas. It complains about the first and third parts of the address -- <<@hosta>... Unbalanced '<' <user@hostc>>... Unbalanced '>' and then queues up a bogus message to @hostb with User unknown. Any clues? Thanks, -- J.
