Does anybody know of a way to get sendmail to send a message back to the sender without preventing the original from going through? We want to generate a warning about every message to a certain class of addresses, and I can't see any way to do this non-destructively. -Guy Middleton, University of Waterloo gamiddleton@watmath.waterloo.edu (+1 519 885 1211 x3472) gamiddleton@watmath.uwaterloo.ca

I'm no expert, but would it work to create alias(es) to pipe the message into a program (or script)? The program could then forward the message to the actual destination and also mail back the warning to the sender. The recently-posted Deliver program might also be helpful here.
