I have the following problem: Players: user-with-forward@machine.with.forward users-locale@off.site.machine me@machine.with.forward me@another.machine Facts: user-with-forward has a .forward file on machine.with.forward that says users-locale@off.site.machine (the forward is actually users-locale@[inter.net.add.ress]) me@machine.with.forward sends mail to user-with-forward and it is forwarded to users-locale@off.site.machine who receives it correctly and with no difficulty. me@another.machine sends mail user@machine.with.forward and it fails. The manner in which it fails is that the message is apparently sent to @off.site.machine, but that machine sends it back to users-locale@another.machine who promptly fails it. What I can't understand is why off.site.machine thinks that it is seeing mail for users-locale@another.machine. I expect that the sendmail.cf on machine.with.forward is a little botched somehow, but i don't quite see where ... sendmail on machine.with.forward is the SunOS 4.0.3 release sendmail (version 4.0, i think they call it) Any thoughts?
