djm408@tijc02.UUCP (David Marks ) (02/07/90)
Thanks to all of you who replied to my question about mailing from a uucp site to an Internet site. I received many suggestions. I tried the following: rti!csuchico.edu!kent rti!mcnc!rutgers!uunet!kent%csuchico.edu The second one worked. The first did not. On another subject, We are currently converting from using a VAX8600 running AT&T UNIX SYSTEM V Release 2.2 to Sun SPARCStation 1's running SunOS 4.0.3. We will then have software that understands domain addresses. We would like to get a domain address (without being on the Internet). How do we go about doing this, and what do we need to make it work besides the mail program(s) (such as maps, etc.)? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #include <standard/disclaimer.h> | LIFE IS NOT A MALFUNCTION! - Number 5 Pony Express: | Electric Avenue: ============= | ================ David J.
