Does anyone have a sendmail.cf file which will always post ALL mail (local as well as non-local) on a specified remote system? We would like to have everyone's mail drop be on one system and use POP to access it over the network. I have been successful in producing a sendmail.cf which will post all non-local mail on a remote system, however local mail still gets delivered locally to /usr/spool/mail. I would like to get ALL mail posted to the SMTP port on a specific remote system. Then I wouldn't have to change the distribution version of "mail", just change sendmail.cf. I haven't had the time to really learn enough about sendmail.cf files in order to do this, so I' just wondering if someone else has already done it. (Of course, I'll still have to remote mount /usr/spool/mail from the central system, but as soon as I get around to fixing "mail" to use POP to retrieve mail, that will go away too.) (I don't read news often enough to make sure I don't miss a reply, so please send your replies directly to me if possible.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard A.
