Sendmail is part of Berkeley UNIX (BSD).  The official version of it
is the one on ucbvax.berkeley.edu's anonymous FTP area.  There's no
mailing list for it, just the Usenet comp.mail.sendmail newsgroup.

Sendmail is not public domain but it *is* freely distributable.  The
difference only matters to your lawyers and to the UC Regents' lawyers.
