I've ported sendmail 5.64 to SysV and I thought I'd make it available as a starting place for all the people with SysV-based Unix boxes. This version was pretty easy to port - it's less BSD/VAX specific than the older versions. I also changed the flock() mechanism to use lockf(). I have it running under SysV ver2.something and 3.0 .
