We have just acquired a pyramid 90x which uses sendmail. To reduce the need for a large spool area users' mail is delivered to their home directories. However if a user is over quota the mail is not delivered and remains in /usr/spool/mqueue, which causes another problem; the partition /usr/spool in which mqueue is located will become physically full and start rejecting ALL mail. Is there a better method of dealing with very large mail queue directory, other than stopping all mail or just incoming mail? Has anyone tried to restict the size of incoming messages or restrict mail to certain (over quota) users? Currently we have 2 users, who are away, not aware that they are over quota and have yet to even login to the new service, whose mail is mounting up, undelivered, in /usr/spool/mqueue. After 7 days or when /usr/spool fills up, their mail will be rejected. Any advice/recommendations/experience of this situation very welcome. C.
