I am in the process of reconfiguring our mail system, and I need some help. Originally, we had a single domain (dialogic.com), that all of our hosts resided under. Now, we have expanded into multiple countries, and I need to change to multiple domain names. However, I want the following to occur: 1) Any host of the form *.dialogic.co.cc (where cc is the country code) should be relayed to the appropriate domain server for our site in that country. This will be either a direct dialup or an X.25 connection. 2) Any host not fitting the above format should be relayed to the local domain server through a dialup connection (ie, Uunet in the US). I realize that it is easy to implement #2. All I have to do is change the relay host for each site. The problem lies in #1. I know that I could implement it by setting up my current domain server as a relay. However, that would require mail from Japan to be relayed through New Jersey before being sent to New Zealand. I would rather have each site know about all of the other Dialogic domains. Has anyone ever tried setting something up like this before? -- Dan Rich | drich@dialogic.com || ...!uunet!dialogic!drich UNIX Systems Administrator | "Danger, you haven't seen the last of me!"
