Our systems are running Ultrix 3.0, 3.1 and 3.1c (perhaps soon 4.0), but we have problems using the DEC-supplied mail11 in combination with sendmail 5.64+IDA 1.3.1. About a year ago I read an article concerning a mail11 clone someone had written, but I have lost the email address of the author. Can someone provide me more info on that decnetmailer, ftp-address or email address? Perhaps someone has written an even better one (including docs :) )? I had problem with the sendmail 5.61+IDA 1.3.1 on Ultrix 3.1 too. The mail just hung and not doing anything. I tried version 1.5 of the utk-mail11, it didn't help. DECWRL uses the UTK version of mail11. My version has had some changes made, mostly for speed but a few functional improvements and a few bugs added (sorry). Look on gatekeeper.dec.com, anon ftp, in /pub/DEC. No support. If you use this software and it deletes every file you own, DEC isn't liable.
