We have a bunch of local mailing lists set up in 'aliases', each with four entries like these (for the 'test-mail' mailing list): test-mail: post-test-mail@ads.com post-test-mail: :include:/usr/local/lib/mail/test-mail test-mail-request: dglo owner-test-mail: dglo All the mailing lists reside on one machine, so mail can be sent to a mailing list from any machine, but it is delivered from only one machine. As long as every address is valid, things work OK. If any of the addresses isn't deliverable, (like when somebody leaves the company and their login disappears but a mailing list hasn't been updated to delete them) one of two things happens: 1) If the mail is sent from 'ads.com', all valid addresses receive the message and the sender gets a 'bounced mail' message. 2) From any other machine, the sender gets a 'bounced mail' message but no messages are delivered to the valid addresses. Any idea how I can get sendmail to deliver to the valid addresses in case (2)? We're running 5.64 with pretty close to the delivered Berkeley cf file. -- Dave Glowacki dglo@ads.com Advanced Decision Systems
